I love and respect simple and high quality clothes made in small volumes more and more every year. It’s not just about NOT having the exact same pieces all of your neighbors, friends, their friends and their neighbors have but the first thing I noticed when I decided to start investing in at least a couple of higher quality pieces was the quality.
Clothes actually look and feel like on the photos and stand the test of time. Even after numerous of washes they look like new and can (and are meant to) be handed down to many generations to come. Something you can’t expect from the high street brands. So yet again quality wins over the quantity. And if we’re completely honest with ourselves our kids would easily survive with less than half they half in their closets.
The only thing I like to be careful about when buying more expensive pieces is to pick classic and timeless looking ones made from natural and durable materials. Just like everything at Willaby’s. Their modern yet classic line is what I’m talking about. I’d want my kids to wear their pieces every single day and when they’d outgrown them I’d definitely save them for my grandkids without worrying about the clothes getting out of fashion. Ever.
